On Saturday it was declared on the live transmission of the occasion of GA FES 2019 that anime version is going to start of the novel Wandering Witch – The Journey of Elaina written by Jougi Shiraishi and illustrated by Azuru.
The cast members of the anime are
- Elaina by Kaede Hondo
- Flan by Kana Hanazawa
- Saya by Tomoyo Kurosawa
The anime is going to be directed at C2C by Toshiyuki Kubooka. The series scripts are going to be written and managed by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. The real character art done by Azuru is being used for animation by Takeshi Oda. The concept designs are going to be done by Kazumasa Nishio.
The novels are going to be issued in English by Yen Press and it explains the story line is following manner:
Once there was a witch called Elaina and she head out for a trip of the world. On her way lots of people are going to cross her path like a realm where lots of witches live, also she will meet a giant who is obsessed of his own muscular body and in each time when she will meet someone Elaina will turn into a small part of their tales and her own life and world will be a grow a bit big.
In 2018 at the Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! List this novel got the 9t position and in 2019 list it got the 6th position. In April 2016 the initial novel was issued by SB Creative and on 9 August the 10th volume was issued. On 14th November the 11th volume will be dispatch.
On November 2018 the manga version was started by Itsuki Nanao Square Enix’s Manga Up! App. On 12 April the initial volume was issued by Square Enix. It is planned that in the beginning of the next year the manga will be issued in English by Square Enix.
