The light novel So I’m a Spider, So What? (Kumo desu ga, nani ka?) by Okina Baba is set to receive the anime adaptation. It will start airing this year. A teaser visual has also been released that shows the spider trying to fight for her life while being chased by a dragon.

Kumo desu ga, nani ka? tells the story about an ordinary high school girl who find herself in the world of fantasy in the form of giant spider. In addition to that, the dungeon where she wakes up is full of hideous monsters. That’s where her intelligence and her positive thinking works that helps her fight for her life and survive in the world full of monsters and demons who her way more stronger than her. Her defensive weapon is her web that she also uses as traps
She is the lowest in the food chain of this world of monsters but her knowledge will be her strongest weapon to fight through this dangerous place.
