Hachimaru’s planet is about to be destroyed by the falling moon above. Chapter 16 of Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den revolves around saving the planet. While many of them were thinking about leaving the planet, Daruma claimed that he can stop it from being destroyed. With the help of Hachimaru they both get ready with special attack that could save planet and all its inhabitant. Daruma tells Hachimaru that he would need help more than ever as due to his cat-like body he would not be able to it alone. Hachimaru fears that he won’t be able to save the planet from such a massive destruction but then he realizes that in the form of Trinity’s completion he has acquired the elements he need to become a real samurai. He has heroism, princess and sword. He has gained so much in life because of this planet so he listen to his master and save the plant with the help of attack. Hachimaru’s body shrinks due to the hit but after taking a bit of a rest he will be fine. The planet is save all thanks to our Samurai and now there is not time to rest as they have saved the galaxy.
The plot of Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den has geared up in last few chapters. We already know that a great Samurai need to obtain Trinity. Our young Samurai already had it for a while and now that he realized it, he is able to use that special attack while saving planet along with Daruma.
Hachimaru gaining all the required elements was the best part of the chapter. But we can’t ignore how mind blowing the ending panel are. All credit goes to Okuba, who is the illustrator of Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den. The tornado in the form of dragon, made by combined forces of Daruma and Hachimaru absorbed the falling moon. The illustration made with every detail is the most amazing part of the chapter that we have seen in a while. Akira Okuba deserves a standing ovation for such a wonderful work.
Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den is the most amazing chapter. The first few chapters of Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den was quite dull but it has definitely leveled up in the past few chapters with its amazing plot and beautiful art. We hope that this series keep going like and if it does, it will surely become favorite of all Shonen Jump fans.
