We have seen a lot of anime about cute girls doing cute things and Gekidol is the anime upcoming anime about some amazing and great girls, which is set to release in January next year. It revolves around a bunch of girls who try to be recognized in the world of theatre. But there something mysteriously devastating in their lives and so they want to dive into the world of theatre to overcome it.
Gekidol is set in Tokyo in a time period when a mysterious catastrophe destroyed many cities and the population 5 years ago. Things have still not completely settle but the people are trying to rebuilt and adapt. A bunch of girls have started to take interest in theatre through “Theatrical Material System” that has introduced the technology of 3d hologram in the stage acting. The journey of their life as performers begins when they believe in themselves and become hopeful.
The anime has also released teaser visuals and PV that feature the main character Seria and others in the group, dreaming about acting on stage infront of the spectators.
Surprisingly, an act within Gekidol, titled Alice in Deadly School is also set to receive an anime. The cast and characters are yet to be introduced to stay tuned for more updates.
