On April 25 Adult Swim's Toonami Brings Back Anime Paranoia Agent by Satoshi Kon

On Wednesday it was declared by the authorized Facebook account for Adult Swim’s Toonami block that on April 25 the block is going to recommence the anime Paranoia Agent by Satoshi Kon in the United States in the place of anime Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma in the time slot 1:00 a.m.

On the same day it was updated on Twitter by the senior vice-president and creative director for Adult Swim, Jason DeMarco that Adult Swim is still going to show the left over three seasons of the anime Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma but those seasons needs a new deal for different rights.

Previously Funimation has certified the anime Paranoia Agent and on February 4 it started to telecast it with an English dubbing and with English captions. It is also planned by the company that this year it will set out the anime on home video which will comprise of the primary Blu-ray Disc set out of the series in English.

The anime is explained by Funimation in following manner:

From Satoshi Kon, the amazing executive of Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, and Paprika comes a dull and baffling, interesting suspenseful thrill ride. Residents across Musashino City are being assaulted and threatened. Two analysts are put working on it, however will they have the option to settle the riddle before there’s another flood of casualties?

In February 2004 the 13 episodes television anime series was debuted. In 2004 and 2005 the anime was set out on DVD by Geneon Entertainment Inc. and then in 2005 it set out a box set. An English dubbed version has been comprised in the set out. in 2005 the anime was in succession on Adult Swim.

The series was directed at Madhouse by Kon, and also for the original work Kon is ascribed. The scripts have been penned by Seishi Minakami and Tomomi Yoshino, and the music has been composed by frequent Kon collaborator Susumu Hirasawa.
