On Tuesday it was declared by the BL FES!!-Boys Love Festival!!- project that a short anime is going to be made based on the boys love manga Marudase Kintarō by Naomi Guren. In 2020 winter the anime short will be premiered as part of the franchise first event screenings in Tokyo’s Shinjuku Wald 9 and other cinemas. Guren posted on Twitter account that in December 2020 the screenings will be started.
The anime version of boys love novel series Yes ka No ka Hanbun ka by Michi Ichiho will be also premiered as part of the festival’s first event screenings. In the start of the next year a trailer of the movie will be premiered.
The screenings of the BL FES!!-Boys Love Festival!!- will comprise usual screenings, encouraging screenings in which the audience will be permitted to cheer and respond to the screen and talk show with cast members will be added. For 2021 the presentation of the publication listing of the Kono BL ga Yabai! will also be comprised in the festival. The voice over artist Toshiyuki Morikawa is the chairman of the festival.
Marudase Kintarō by Guren is the follow up manga of the previous manga The Incredible Kintaro. In 2014 the manga was set out by Digital Manga Publishing in English and it explains the story in following manner:

In April 2018 Marudase Kintarō was issued by Guren and in 2010 the manga Incredible Kintaro was issued.
