On Friday the manga Tomodachi Game by artist Yuki Sato came back for one chapter in this year’s March issue of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine. on December 9 the manga went on pause and it is again going back on break because the author was blessed with a baby.
The story, in view of Mikoto Yamaguchi’s unique idea, focuses on Yūichi Katagiri, a youngster with an ideal understudy life who has four companions with troublesome lives. His serene every day life reaches a conclusion when 2 million yen (about US$20,000) in school trip expenses disappears. Questions unfurl as Yūichi becomes involved with a puzzling game for cash and should choose whether kinship or cash matters more.
In December 2013 the manga Tomodachi Game was commenced in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine by Sato. On December 9 the 15th assembled volume was dispatched.
Two live action movies were made based by the manga. In June 2017 the primary movie Tomodachi Game Gekijōban was released and before that in April 2017 a live action television drama series was debuted. In September 2017 the subsequent movie was screened in Japan.
