On July 3 the season is going to resume its airing from the episode 1. The anime had to postpone its episode 4 until July or later because of the consequences of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19). For now the reruns of the episodes of Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: The Fourth Plate is being showed by the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels.

On October 11 the fourth anime season Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: The Fourth Plate consisting 12 episodes inspired by the manga by Yūto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki was debuted.
