Last Friday it was declared by the Hong Kong movie distributor Neofilms that it is going to screen the anime movie Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul which is the follow up of the anime Made in Abyss in Hong Kong. A release date of the movie was not disclosed by it
On January 17 the movie was released in Japan and it got the 9th position in its starting week and in its first three days it generated 102,284,000 yen.
The movie was certified by Sentai Filmworks in North America and it explains the story in following manner:
Dawn of the Deep Soul proceeds with the epic experience of fearless Riko and Reg who are joined by their new companion named Nanachi. Together they drop into the Abyss’ tricky fifth layer, the Sea of Corpses, and experience the secretive Bondrewd, an amazing White Whistle whose shadow lingers over Nanachi’s disturbed past. Bondrewd is ingratiatingly neighborly, yet the fearless travelers realize things are not generally as they appear in the confounding Abyss.
In July 2017 the television anime series of 13 episode inspired by the manga Made in Abyss by Akihito Tsukushi was debuted.
In January 2019 the primary assembled movie Made in Abyss: Journey’s Dawn of the anime was released in Japan, two weeks later the subsequent movie Made in Abyss: Wandering Twilight followed.
