Horimiya Season 2 – Everything you need to know

[the_ad_group id="23498"]

Horimiya caused a sensation all around the world. The sweet love story that took place between two rival classmates in high school won over the hearts of the audience. The manga series, which was written and illustrated by Hiroki Adachi under the pen name Hero, served as the inspiration for the anime series. It tells the tale of a popular girl and a bookish boy who lead completely different lifestyles outside of school and how their paths cross. They made a pact to keep each other’s secrets a secret, and in the process, they fell in love with one another.

Fans are expecting a continuation of their love story despite the series’ conclusive and happy finish in the anime. Is Season 2 of “Horimiya” in the works? This is what we have discovered.

Horimiya Season 2

Horimiya Season 1: The first season came to a satisfying conclusion as both Hori and Miyamura revealed their emotions for one another. The series concluded with the characters completing their high school educations and tying up any remaining loose ends. It was everything the fans had been screaming for in a romance anime, and the series was so entertaining to watch that it wouldn’t be all that horrible if there was a second season of it.

Since Clover Works has not yet decided to renew the series, it is unfortunate to say that you should not anticipate seeing Horimiya: Season 2 any time in the near future. In addition, the anime adapted all of the manga; therefore, if the anime were to ever return, the story would most likely be original or something very similar to it.

Horimiya Season 1 Plot

Horimiya Season 1 plot

Izumi Miyamura, a fellow student at Kyoko Hori’s high school, is a gloomy and seemingly nerdy lad who wears glasses. In contrast, Kyoko Hori is an upbeat and well-liked high school student. Hori is the type of person that likes to relax at home, dress casually, and look after her younger brother, Souta.

She makes a concerted effort to keep this secret from her classmates so that she does not jeopardize her social standing and cause others to be concerned. Souta eventually returns home from school with a nosebleed. He was accompanied by a young man named Miyamura who had a number of piercings and tattoos on his body. Miyamura introduced himself to the audience. They came to the conclusion that their classmates should not be aware of their genuine identities once they recognized Hori regardless of what she was wearing.

But, as time passes and the two continue to learn more about one another, they discover that they share more similarities than they had previously believed they did. They make a pact to help one another keep their identities hidden after school by agreeing to work together on this matter. The passage of time has brought the two individuals into an unanticipated state of intimacy.

Horimiya Season 2: Season 2 of the anime has not been confirmed, and it appears to be in jeopardy of not being revived. The series’ arc was completed by the end of the first season. Both the cliffhangers and the secrets had been revealed. If the tale is wrapped up nicely, there may be no need for a second season.

Except that, the anime series has now caught up to the manga’s storyline. When the last manga chapter was released in March 2021, there is no longer any material from which to adapt a new season. The series finale followed the manga’s final chapter, which focused on graduation day at Katagiri Senior High School. Horimiya season 2 may never happen now that there is no longer any source material to adapt.

Will there be a Horimiya Season 2?

We are already aware that there is a possibility that the second season of “Horimiya” will not be produced. But, the show has not been pulled from the airwaves entirely, and as a result, there is still a remote possibility that there will be a second season.

What can be the Plot of Horimiya Season 2?

What can be the plot of Horimiya Season 2?

The scenario of the manga was replicated in the anime, and despite the fact that it omitted a few key pieces of information, the narrative may now be considered finished. The developer of the Horimiya manga, Hero, first created a comic that the manga is based on. The comic covers the entire plot, although the manga only covers up to 20 percent of it.

The two main characters in “Horimiya” are the pretty and popular Kyoko Hori and the shy and quiet Izumi Miyamura. Even though they go to the same high school, they are not friends and have very different ideas about life. But their school personas are made to hide who they are outside of school. Even though Izumi is a nerd, he lives a more exciting life.

When he goes outside, he dresses in a punk way, with earrings and tattoos. Kyoko dresses more casually because her younger brother Souta needs help. The two run into each other outside of school. When they find out each other’s secrets, they promise not to tell their classmates the truth. As the story went on, the two finally began to feel like they had something in common. In the end, they say they love each other, and their friends are happy for them and support their union.

In the last episode of the show, the two were shown getting their high school diplomas. If the show is picked up for a second season, Kyoko and Izumi’s relationship will almost certainly go on. The first season has already used up all of the source material. So, if the anime wants to keep going, they’ll have to come up with a new storyline.
