On Tuesday it was declared by Aniplus-Asia that the second season of anime Granblue Fantasy will be telecast this fall. A trailer with English captions of this anime has been broadcast by Aniplus-Asia.

On 4th October this series is going to be telecast in Japan and it will be available on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, BS11, MBS, and AT-X. in Japan AbemaTV along with other channels will broadcast this anime.
The opening season of this anime was directed at A-1 Pictures by Ayako Kurata and Yuuki Itoh but now the second is going to be directed at MAPPA by Yui Umemoto. The script writing is under the supervision of Kiyoko Yoshimura. The characters are going to be designed by Fumihide Sai. The composition of music is going to be done Tsutomu Narita and Yasunori Nishiki who had also compose the music for the first season. The starting song called “Stay With Me” is going to be presented by Seven Billion Dots.
In the first season the voice over artist of Eugen was Keiji Fujiwara but he had to leave in the middle due to his medical condition and Kazuhiro Yamaji was the substitute for him but now in the second season Keiji Fujiwara is again going to give voice to the character of Eugen. The other voices over artists for characters are going to be same from the first season.
In April 2017 games for Smartphone’s of the first season of the anime Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy with 13 episodes was launched in Japan. In October 2017 the seventh which was also the final Blu-ray Disc and DVD volume of this season was dispatched it also contained an episode called “EXTRA 2” which was not broadcast. In Southeast Asia this season was broadcast by Aniplus-Asia as soon as it was telecast in Japan.
