On Monday it was declared by NHK that it has postponed the debut date of the television anime of manga To Your Eternity by Yoshitoki Ōima, to April 2021 from its original October debut on NHK Educational. The declaration clarified that postpone is because of the anime production schedule has been greatly impacted by the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The show is going to have 20 episodes and the anime is going to be telecast by Crunchyroll.

The anime is being directed at Brains Base by Masahiko Murata. The series composition is being supervised by Shinzō Fujita and the characters are being designed by Koji Yabuno.

In May 2019 the manga was awarded with the Best Shōnen Manga award at the 43rd annual Kodansha Manga Awards. The manga also got a position on the American Library Association’s (ALA’s) Young Adult Library Services Association’s (YALSA) 2019 list of Great Graphic Novels for Teens.
