On Monday the authorized website of the anime series version Shironeko Project: Zero Chronicle of the Smartphone game Shironeko Project by Colopl started to telecast an advertising video clip of the anime. The video disclosed the 6 April debut date of the anime. The website also disclosed the theme song artists and a new visual of the anime.
The starting theme song is being presented by Takanori Nishikawa and ASCA. The concluding song is being presented by Rei Yasuda.

As the anime name signifies that the anime will settle the prologue Zero Chronicle: Hajimari no Tsumi event that celebrates the third anniversary of the game.
The anime is being directed and penned at project No.9 by Masato Jinbo, the designer of characters is Yousuke Okuda, and the music is being composed by Taku Iwasaki. The executive producer of the anime is Hiroki Asai from the franchise. The anime is being managed by Ryōji Tsunoda who is the director of the game.
In 2014 the Smartphone game Colopl’s Shironeko Project was commenced in Japan and in 2015 it was commenced in English with name Rune Story. The game’s English form stopped updates in 2016. The 3D activity RPG includes ongoing fights and players can collaborate together in gatherings of four to take on adversaries. City building is additionally a conspicuous viewpoint that can influence how players’ characters develop.
In 2018 the game got the 1st position on the survey by Famitsu App in which the fans of mobile games wanted to have an anime version.
In July 2018 Colopl declared that a probably titled Shironeko New Project activity pretending game, scheduled for 2020 on the Nintendo Switch. That game has now been deferred to an inconclusive date.
Nintendo recorded a claim against Colopl in January 2018, charging that Colopl encroached on in any event five Nintendo licenses in Shironeko Project. Nintendo is looking for 4.4 billion yen in harms and a suspension of Shironeko Project. Nintendo explained in July 2018 that the claim is a different issue from its games programming business and won’t influence Shironeko New Project. The court hearings are as yet progressing for the claim.
