According to some reliable sources, Re: Zero Season will consist of 25 episodes. The season will n be divided into two parts and the second part will be released after a short gap of few months. According to some other sources, this season was supposed to release in 2017 but for certain reasons it could not happen.
The new season of Re:Zero will be releasing in April 2020. However, the date has not been confirmed yet. But it will be announced soon. But it will be divided into two parts and the second part will air towards the end of 2020.

The end of Season 1 of Re: Zero was great. A Demon, called Betelgeuse Romanee-Conti, Bishop of Sloth was taken down. This was one of the most important event of the entire series and the main plot as this victory saved the lives of many significant characters. We saw Subaru expressing his feelings to Emilia in a beautiful landscape surrounded by flowers and it was a very heartwarming scene. The new season will probably start from the point, the last season ended. The relation between Subaru and Emilia won’t be the same in the next season. We may also get to see a new antagonist.
