On Thursday the authorize website of One-Punch Man second season has started to show a 10 minute clip of episode 1: Saitama to Sokosoko no Nōryokumono-tachi” (Saitama and Those With Reasonable Abilities) and it is also integrated in the first Blu-ray Disc/DVD of this anime.
The release of Blu-ray Disc and DVD of the anime series was holdup from past two months. The first date for the release was 27 August but now the new date is 25 October. The other five video releases will be seen once in a month from November to March 2020.
It is still not verify by the authorities that the other videos will be having OVAs as it was in the first season’s six releases of the anime. The first video will be having English captions as it was in the first season videos.
On 2 April the newest season was telecast on television and then on 9 April in Japan the opening episode was broadcast. The anime’s second season was certified by Viz Media and for North America, Latin America and Oceania this well known company as also gets hold of the digital streaming, TV broadcast, electronic sell-through, home media, and merchandising rights. Viz Media also telecast this show on Hulu exclusive with English captions. In Middle East, North Africa, and in Europe apart from French and German part of speaking the show is broadcast by Crunchyroll.
On 25 October the first Blu-ray Disc/DVD of the anime will consist of OVA aka original video anime of about 10 minute.
The season is now going to be directed at J.C. Staff (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Children of the Whales) by Shingo Natsume despite of Madhouse, where the first season was animated. This substitution was done by Chikara Sakurai (Magimoji Rurumo, episode director for Naruto Shippūden).
The first 12 season of the anime by Madhouse and director Shingo Natsume’s was based on ONE. In year 2015 from the month of October to December One-Punch Man manga by Yūsuke Murata was telecast in Japan. And it was broadcast outside the boundary of Japan by Viz Media and Daisuki. In July 2016 the anime was dubbed in English and was seen on Adult Swim’s Toonami. In North America the opening season was streamed by Viz Media
