On Wednesday it was declared that capybara character Kapibarasan by Bandai Spirits is going to have a television anime to celebrate its 15th anniversary. On October 9, Friday the weekly anime is going to debut within the children’s variety program Kin Daa Terebi at 7:30 a.m. on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Broadcasting Kyushu.
The anime is being directed at Shinei Animation and Lesprit by Tomohiro Tsukimisato, as well as the sound is also being directed. The music is also being composed by Akiyuki Tateyama. The sound production is also being handled by Jinnan Studio in cooperation with the Froebel-kan Co., Ltd.
In 2002 the female team Tryworks by Bandai Spirits formed the character. A long running merchandise, mange versions, and follow ups characters are made based on the character.
