In the anime, Chiaki Kobayashi lends his voice to Kiyoshi Adachi, a 30-year-old office worker, while Ryōta Suzuki voices Yūichi Kurosawa, Adachi’s attractive and accomplished colleague. The voice cast also includes Makoto Furukawa and Gen Sato in significant roles.

Under the direction of Yoshiko Okuda, known for Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-, and character designs by Takahiro Kishida of Durarara!! fame, the anime is created by Satelight. The series script is managed by Tomoko Konparu, and Tomoki Hasegawa is in charge of the musical score.

Published by Square Enix Manga & Books, the manga’s storyline revolves around Adachi, a thirty-year-old virgin, who discovers the ability to read minds through touch. This leads to an unexpected and comical turn of events when he realizes his feelings for his colleague.

First serialized on pixiv‘s Gangan pixiv service in 2018, the manga has also inspired a Japanese live-action television series that premiered on TV Tokyo in October 2020. Following its success, Crunchyroll began streaming it internationally in December 2020. Additionally, a two-episode online spinoff and a live-action film sequel were released, further expanding the franchise. The manga has even inspired a Thai live-action adaptation, showcasing its global appeal.
