The heartwarming feature film Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl is going to be released in Blu-Ray from 30t June, as confirmed by Aniplex. It is the adaptation of one of the best-selling novel of Hajime Kamoshida that tells about the hardships that comes with growing up in the contemporary world. The film came out in U.S and Canada in October last year and was soon encouraged for more screenings due to its immense popularity. The Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl Blu-ray will come with some extras that include booklet od character sketch, storyboard art, design material and package illustration by the illustrator and character designer Keji Mizoguchi, Satomi Tamura. online retailer RightStuf Anime is offering pre-order for Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl Blu-ray.

Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl begins from the point where the popular anime series, popular Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai left off and like before explores a strange psychophysiological case called “puberty syndrome.”

The anime series was known for its authentic depiction which was relatable close to reality. It tapped more than one social topic due to which it has been critically praised and awarded. It was also included in the list of The Best Anime of 2018 by Polygon and Thrillist and was awarded Romance Anime of the Year in Anime Trending Award 2019. It also won “Best Girl Award” in Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2019.

The cast of the of the anime is also popular which include Kaito Ishikawa as the protagonist Sakuta Azusagawa, Asai Seto as the Beauty Giel Senpai, Mai Sakurajima and Inori Minase as Shoko Makinahora.

Other supporting cast that came back for the feature film include Maaya Uchida, Atsumi Tanezaki, Yurika Kubo, and Nao Toyama

The anime film has been produced by CloverWorks and directed by Soichi Masui. Satomi Tamura is the chief animation director and is also in charge of character design.
