Chapter 35 of Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den was full of some powerful dialogues and that makes it a very different chapter from previous chapters. These dialogues made this chapter worth reading. Fudo Myo-O explains to Hachimaru that since he is the one who created the galaxy—something you will understand later—gave him the power to get in the system where Hachimaru and Daruma exists. Hachimaru thinks that Fudo Myo-O, having godly powers might be able to help him so he quickly ask him about Ata’s Master’s motive.
We come to know that Ata’s Master—Kala—wants to put end to the galaxy so that he could recreate it as he please. This honest response to Hachimaru’s question led to some other questions that were answered vaguely by him. But we come to know that Pandora’s Box and Mandala’s Box can’t be open with merely a source but the mean to open it is the ‘will’ of the one who try to open it. The boxes have the power of Fudo Myo-O which will give the authority to either destroy the galaxy or restart it.
Towards the end of the chapter, Hachimaru learns something very important from Fudo Myo-O—while the downloading is finished—that Hachimaru has the ability inside him that there is no limit to what he can learn and is capable of doing. Although Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den chapter 35 had no action, it was still one of the most important chapter. Hachimaru can gain great abilities and we also learned some very important things regarding the boxes and why it shouldn’t be opened by the people with good intention.
We were introduced to some interesting characters in chapter 35 of Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den and Fudo Myo-o is the best of them all. He claims to be the creator of the galaxy, we can’t stop thinking if he doesn’t want his godly powers to be exposed. For now Fudo Myo-O looks like someone we can trust but what will happen once the boxes are found.
It was a great motivation for Hachimaru and he might have never felt this confident before. When he asked Fudo Myo-O about the powers inside the boxes, he gave the most honest answer in his mighty way. Hachimaru should feel proud of himself after getting such remarks from him. This chapter had no battle scenes or sword fight but still it was one of the most powerful chapter that kept us captivated from the beginning till end. Now that that he has received the License what will he get next? We don’t know now but we will know soon.
