On Wednesday it was declared by TV Tokyo that it is producing a live action television series version of manga Rasen no Meikyū – DNA Kagaku Sōsa by Midori Natsu that will debut this April on premiere on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Broadcasting Kyushu.
The story of manga series The Rasen no Meikyū (Helical Labyrinth) centers on the virtuoso DNA authority Jin Jinbo, the determined investigator Genji Andō, and the lovely lady Ran Ranbara as they fathom secrets
The series will feature Jin Jinbo by Kei Tanaka and Genji Andō will be played by Ken Yasuda. One of the directors of the series is going to be Hitoshi Iwamoto. The scripts are being penned by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, Masaaki Sakai, and Teppei Fukuda.
From May 2012 to September 2015 the manga was illustrated in the Shogakukan’s Big Comic Zōkan magazine by Natsu. Two assembled book volumes of the series were issued by Shogakukan.
Natsu has added stories in the long consecutive manga Golgo 13 and also wrote the scripts of the anime The Laughing Salesman NEW. He is ascribed for the setting collaboration of various anime Yuruyuri – Happy Go Lily. One volume of his manga Feng Shui Academy was issued by DrMaster in English.
