It has been declared by Anime Limited that it will set out the 1990- 1993 OVA series named Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory in the form of a Collectors Blu-ray.
The set will comprise of series of 13 parts and of anthology movie named Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: The Afterglow of Zeon. The series will be in both dubbing and captioned but the movie is only captioned. The set will also comprise of the animated shorts named Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory – The Mayfly of Space 1 and Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory – The Mayfly of Space 2 which shows the background story of a specific character.
Five art cards and a poster will be comprised in the set.
The Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory is situated in the Universal Century time period of the original series Mobile Suit Gundam. The story has been explained by Anime Limited in following manner:
Universal Century 0083. Having triumphed in the One-Year War, the Earth Federation has become self-satisfied, while the last remainders of Zeon powers have been arranging one last stand. Everything relies on pro Zeon pilot Anavel Gato taking one of the new model Gundams out from under the Federation’s nose.
Mitsuko Kase and Takashi Imanishi directed the series. Shoji Kawamori is ascribed for the Mechanical Styling and Toshihiro Kawamoto is ascribed for the Character Designs.
