THE FIRST CG Anime Film Lupin III Debuted at #2

The new anime movie in Monkey Punch’s Lupin III franchise named Lupin III THE FIRST from Friday to Sunday the movie vended 220000 tickets and generated 307,395,900 yen. From Saturday to Sunday it vended 177,000 tickets and generated 244,827,850 yen and got the 2nd position in its starting week. The movie was only able to generate 37.7% of the starting week gross of the 2013 crossover movie Lupin III vs. Detective Conan The Movie but according to the website Eiga. Com the movie will ultimately generate more than 1.5 billion yen.

Previous Friday the movie was released in Japan on 389 screens

This movie is the first 3D CG feature-length movie of the franchise. The complete movie was penned and directed by Takashi Yamazaki. The story of the movie revolves around Lupin joining hands with a woman called Leticia in order to take away the Bresson Diary which is a fortune that even the Arsène Lupin the primary generation was not able to steal.

From Friday to Sunday the live action movie version of manga Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight by Rin Mikimoto vended 159,000 tickets and generated 194,913,000 yen. From Saturday to Sunday it vended 121,000 tickets and made 144,777,900 yen and got the 3rd position in its starting week. Previous Friday the movie was released in Japan on 255 screens. The movie was directed by Takehiko Shinjō and the script was written by Haruka Ōkita.

Ryota Katayose from the GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE’s is starred in the movie as Kaede Ayasa. The character of Hinana Hanazawa is presented by Kanna Hashimoto.

The manga has been issued in English by Kodansha Comics.

The anime movie Eiga Sumikko Gurashi: Tobidasu Ehon to Himitsu no Ko of the characters of San-X’s Sumikko Gurashi fell to 4th position from 2nd in its fifth week. From Friday to Sunday the movie generated 84,685,000 yen. The movie has vended over 810,000 tickets and has generated an aggregate profit of 981,897,800 yen by vending 716,224 tickets.

The movie got the 3rd position in its starting week. On November 8 the movie was released in Japan in 114 cinemas. The movie vended 104,000 tickets and generated 121 million yen throughout the week but from Friday to Sunday it vended 114,280 tickets and generated 132,873,500 yen. Accoding to the website of Eiga.com the movie will ultimately generate 1 billion yen.

The movie was directed at Fanworks by Mankyū. The script has been written by Takashi Sumita. The art direction was done by Kaori Hino.

The movie’s story is commenced when the character of Sumikko Gurashi discovers a strange photo album in the crypt of a café they always visit. The movie includes new settings, things and characters.

The anime movie Saenai Heroine no Sodate-kata fine inspired by novel series Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend by Fumiaki Maruto remains at the 9th position in its seven week. From Friday to Sunday the movie generated 43,251,500 yen which is more than its earlier week gross. The movie generated an aggregate profit of 667,463,980 yen.

The movie was released at 5th position in Japan. On Saturday and Sunday the movie generated 136,362,600 yen. On October 26 the movie was released on 121 screens.

The role of head direction was done by Kanta Kamei at CloverWorks and direction was done by Akihisa Shibata. To pen the script Fumiaki Maruto came back and to for character designing Tomoaki Takase came back. The movie is being distributed by Aniplex.

The French live action movie named Nicky Larson et le Parfum de Cupidon of manga City Hunter by Tsukasa Hojo fell to 10th position from 8th in its subsequent week. From Friday to Sunday the movie generated 27,413,200 yen and also generated aggregate profit of 109,990,000 yen.

The movie vended 38,676 tickets and made 47,883,700 yen in its primary three days. It got the 8th position in its starting week in Japan. Hence, the movie was for those who are in their 30s and 40s and recognized the original manga and anime but the week also witnesses people belonging in their 20 coming at the screening of the movie. Last Friday, November 29 the movie was released in Japan on 102 screens.

The movie had a Japanese name City Hunter the Movie: Shijō Saikō no Mission. The French name is Nicky Larson of the City Hunter franchise and also the French name of the main lead Ryō Saeba. The movie is being distributed in Japan by Albatros Film.

The live action movie starred Nicky Larson by Philippe Lacheau. The movie also starred Tarek Boudali and Élodie Fontan. The movie was penned by Philippe Lacheau and Pierre Lacheau along with actor and author Julien Arruti.

The anime version of manga Fragtime by Sato fell to 3rd position from 2nd in the small cinema ranking in its third week.
