[the_ad_group id="23498"]

Eastald is a place devastate by war, as two groups of distinct beliefs battle against each other and try to vanquish each other. During the war of consolidation, some army researchers learned the method of transplant that allows using the organs of animals acquired by fairies in such a way that permits the humans to use and call those fairies and utilize the knowledge to summon Fairy Soldiers to aid them in the battle. Empire of Zessikia emerges the victor in the Great War, after the war there is not true purpose of the surviving Fairy Soldiers, specifically for those who supported the soldiers of the defeated side. Thus, Dorothea was formed, an army unit with the purpose of examining crimes related to Fairies. Marlya Noel didn’t paid attention to this, but during her struggle to find a vanished childhood friend winds up attaining a fairy of her own to control without the procedure of transplant, she gets recruited by Dorothea and there she learns their scheme to begin another war.

Marlya is an exceptional marksman when it comes to using rifle, and with this she and Ash Clad are almost invincible, she is amateur when it comes to communicating and controlling her fairy like other fairy users. So unlike others, who uses the power of magic more than human attributes, she relies on her expert sniper skills, targeting with extreme precision. The season concludes with Marlya incorporating herself into a dangerous gangster family. Though apparently she may seem innocent and someone who hates war, but she can be the most dangerous fighter in her squad.

Before the war broke out, Marylia belonged to a poor family. And after the war, her situation was even worse, she had no place to stay. Even after that she cling to life. The reason behind this is the excellent training her father gave her to search food and shelter and the ability to fight for herself when the time comes. While during the flashback scenes it didn’t seem like she is capable of defending herself, but as we continue on watching, we observe that out of all in Dorothea Squad she is the only one capable of rescuing everyone if they get trapped in the mountains with nothing except a rifle.

If you make Marlya your companion, she would never want you to protect her or to stay by her side. In fact she is the type of person who would gladly sacrifice herself for the sake of other, she will allow you to always choose yourself instead of her if push comes to shove. And this applies to people she barely knows, she is also the type of person who would always remember the favor done for her and will pay the debt.

Maryla wasn’t a cunning child since the beginning, she wasn’t able to fight for herself. The obvious reason is her hometown was burning and the survivor being her close friend who was older than her, Veronica. She had a better idea of how to handle the situation. But later on it was revealed that Veronica had a much more tough live then Maryla. So one shouldn’t be shocked to learn that in sticky situation, Maryla is not helpless even if she is not carrying her sniper rifle with her.

If you are in the battlefield with Maryla, you can count on her to protect you even at the cost of her life. In Veronica’s case, things are even complicated, even though Maryla should be the one to capture her or kill her because of her duty, she just doesn’t give up on her. In short, if you want someone to help you, Maryla will overdo it, even damaging herself if she has to. Her devotion level is too high.

Maryla is a very appealing protagonist because while we are acquainted with the concept of Fairy Gone through her objective to search Veronica, a true hidden plot is revealed to us which is the dark scheme. Most of her saga has been unfinished, and while she is able to meet Veronica again, they never got a chance to chat. Even after that she is an amazing protagonist, and her determination to solve mysteries not for her personal satisfaction but in order to protect her country from hidden malice, even if she realize she will never get to the bottom of the matter, makes her special in her own way.
