Somali and the Forest Spirit Anime’s 2 TV Ads Reveal January 9 Debut

On Monday it was declared by the authorized website of anime version of manga Somali and the Forest Spirit by Yako Gureishi that on 9 January the anime will be started. On 9 January the anime will be started on AbemaTV and Tokyo MX at sharp 24:00 which means on 10 January at 12:00 a.m. and on January 13 it will be started on BS-NTV.

On Monday two short advertising clips were started by the authorized website which shows the starting song called Arigatō wa Kocchi no Kotoba presented by Naotarō Moriyama.

The anime starred:

  1. Somali by Inori Minase
  2. Golem by Daisuke Ono
  3. Shizuno by Hiroki Nanami
  4. Yabashira by Tatsuhisa Suzuki
  5. Uzoi by Saori Hayami
  6. Haitora by Yuuki Ono
  7. Kikila by Yu Kobayashi
  8. Rosa-obasan by Rie Shibata as her debut for the anime series.
  9. Musurika by Sho Hayami
  10. Kokilira by Tomokazu Seki
  11. Hazel by Ai Kayano
  12. Praline by Ayahi Takagaki

The anime is being directed at Satelight and HORNETS by Kenji Yasuda. The series script is being managed by Mariko Mochizuki. The characters are being designed by Ikuko Ito. The concluding song called Kokoro Somali is being presented Inori Minase who is the voice over artist of character Somali.

The anime is being co-produced by Crunchyroll and it will telecast the series as soon as it will be broadcast in Japan. On August 30 a world premiere of the anime was held by Crunchyroll at the Crunchyroll Expo.

The manga is set in a world controlled by spirits and beasts, and where people are abused and headed to the edge of eradication. In a specific backwoods, a golem – the watchman of the woods and a young lady meet. Their adventure surrogate dad and little girl to one another starts.

In April 2015 the manga was commenced on Tokuma Shoten’s Web Comic Zenyon web manga site by Gureishi.
