On Sunday a trailer was telecast by the co-founder of Gainax and the maker of game series Princess Maker for short sci-fi anime Gainatamager by Yonago Gainax. The story of anime revolves around a young boy Tarō as he is altered into a superhero named Gainaman. In December the mini anime will be telecast.
The cast members are Momoko Takami, Kumiko Fukahori, Kenji Kanechiku, and Aino Kuronaga.
The anime is being directed at Yonago Gainax by Akai and the characters are also being designed by him. The script is being penned by Tetsuya Teranishi, Kō Matsumura, Kiyoshi Takenaka, and Akai. The art is being supervised by Jun Tamatani and the music is being composed by Asami Misato. The theme song is being presented by Handsome Kenya.
Earlier it was planned that the anime will commence in November but on November 14 Yonago Gainax declared that the anime is postponed so the crew members can bring more progress in the quality of the anime.
Gainaman is filling in as the mascot character for Tottori-based soccer group Gainare Tottori. Akai belongs to the city of Yonago, Tottori.
