On Friday it was revealed by the January 2020 issue of Kadokawa’s Da Vinci magazine that a manga version is being made based by the anime movie of the mini story Josee to Tora to Sakana-tachi by Seiko Tanabe. On January 6 the manag will be started in the nest issue of the magazine. The illustrator of the manga O Maidens in Your Savage Season and the movie designer of the original characters Nao Emoto is going to illustrate the manga
The story focuses on the connection among Tsuneo and Josee. Tsuneo is a college understudy, and Josee is a little youngster who has infrequently left the house without anyone else’s input because of her being incapable to walk. The two meet when Tsuneo discovers Josee’s grandma taking her out for a morning walk.
In 1985 the original story was issued by Tanabe in the 1985 mini stories anthology having the similar title. In 2003 a live action movie was made based on the story.
