Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It – Review

Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove is not for those who can’t understand complex concepts. Although it is the story about love it centers around some complicated ideas and notions. It is an informative anime where multiple complex notions are being solved that educate the viewers.

The main concept that is focused the most in this anime is the concept of love which makes the story more interesting with its twist and turns. The romance between Shinya and Ayame is not very simple and like other complicated story it has many layers to it which makes it more interesting and amusing to mature viewers. When it comes to a complicated love story it is not like other anime series and that’s what makes it a little different from other romantic anime series.

Romantic anime are mostly focused on the main leas that give very less or no attention to the development of the supporting characters which makes the anime a little plain. But Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It is not just focused on the main characters but the other characters have also been given much importance with some character development.

Since the characters in the anime are all very intelligent and genius but they are all emotionless with a very understanding of it, making anime a little annoying at some times. At some point, things seem to be dragged a little with the repetition of the same reactions and emotions throughout the 12 episodes.

The ending of the show was not as interesting and unpredictable as the plot making it a little cliched and very predictable. It ends with a scene of some conflicts between the characters that lead to the make-up scene which makes the whole story and the character development a waste, leaving us with a bit of disappointment. Although the romantic anime like these are all predictable with the idea of the main characters ending up with each other but in the end but since it depicted so many complications, the same ending could have been a little more different than the other romantic anime series.

Although the characters were written very well the main character does not has much depth to his character. Where we got to see the character development of the supporting characters but compared to that Shinya’s character was rather a plain with not much development. We also got to see the backstories of the supporting characters but there was nothing shown about Shinya and we didn’t get to know about his life other than the lab. Even the backstory about Ayame and Shinya was not very clear about how they met in the past which could have been better and a little more detailed but instead remain confusing till the end.

Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It – Review

Overall, Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It is an amusing story that feels a little different from other romantic anime and so many anime of the same genre that we have been watching lately. But like any other anime, some flaws could have been improved and could have added perfection to the creative plot. If you are tired of watching the same genre and the cliched story then you must watch Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It which has a unique concept in the romantic genre.
